Avocado on Rye Sourdough with Tumeric & Hemp Hearts

  • 2 slices rye sourdough thick slices
  • 1 large avocado skin removed, sliced thinly
  • 2 tsps ground tumeric
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


  • Toast the bread and place one slice on each plate.
  • Gently place the sliced avocado on the toast, sprinkle with turmeric, black pepper, hemp hearts and a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Serve immediately.
