Creamed Oats with Beetroot Swirl, Plum & Hazelnuts

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp maca root powder
  • 1 tsp stevia
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 plum washed, stoned, halved
  • 1 handful hazelnuts
  • 1 juice from one small red beetroot or use beetroot powder mixed with water


  • Place the oats and milk in a bowl or jug and blend using a hand blender, until smooth.
  • Stir in the maca powder, stevia, cinnamon and beet juice.
  • Add the mixture to a serving bowl and top with the plum and hazelnuts.
  • Serve immediately.
