Millet & Oat Poriddge with Blackberries, Hazelnuts & Sesame

  • 1/2 cup millet
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 3 cups plantbased milk
  • 1 tsp xylitol
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 handful blackberries
  • 1 handful hazelnuts


  1. Place the millet and half of the milk in a pan, turn on the heat to a medium setting, allowing to cook for 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes, add the oats and the remaining milk and allow to cook for a further 10 minutes, stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. Once the porridge is cooked, add it to a bowl, top with the remaining ingredients and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Make double and save on cooking time tomorrow. Store in the fridge in a suitable container.
